È Tutto Qua is a Italian restaurant.  They travel often to Italy to discover the trends in the leading restaurants and research new products in the market.  The recipes are their own, but they strive to keep their dishes authentically Italian.

        Here are what I had.  Tiramisu here is different from others'.  It is like soft cake with some liquid inside, really really different!  It is an Italian restaurant.  The waiter said this is the traditional Tiramisu!

Creations Dessert House - from Hong Kong

Mitchell's Ice Cream
        Mitchell's Ice Cream is opened on June 6, 1953 at San Jose Avenue and 29th Street in San Francisco.   It is still owned and operated by the Mitchell family today.  Because of their dedication to creating the very best ice cream.  
        They import avocado, buko (baby coconut), guava, langka (jackfruit), macapuno (sweet coconut), mango,pineapple and ube (purple yam) fruit from the Philippines for their ice cream, and they use fruit such as lychee and passion fruit for their delicious sorbets.
         In addition to exotic flavors, Mitchell's Ice Cream also offers more traditional fare, all beginning with a 16% butterfat base.  Their ice cream is made fresh in their shop daily, and they use only the finest ingredients available.  Their Vanilla ice cream is made with pure Bourbon Vanilla and only authentic Kahlua, Bailey's Irish Cream and Rum are used in the flavors bearing their names.

Chinese Mid-autumn Festival and Ice-skin Moon Cakes

       September 12, 2011 is Chinese traditional festival, Mid-autumn Day.  In this day, families usually get together to have a big dinner and celebrate this festival.  After dinner, families eat moon cake and enjoy the glorious full moon.  The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the four most important Chinese festivals.



       Moon cake is the traditional food for this festival.  Most moon cakes consist of a thin, tender skin enveloping a sweet, dense filling, and may contain one or more whole salted egg yolks in its center to symbolise the full moon. Very rarely, moon cakes are also served steamed or fried.


Contemporary styles:

        Snowy moon cakes first appeared on the market in the early 1980s. These non-baked, chilled moon cakes usually come with two types of crusts:





        *Glutinous rice: A crust with texture similar to that of a mochi. These moon cakes are known colloquially as "snowskin mooncakes" or "ice-skin mooncakes" (冰皮 or 冰皮月餅).

The beginning......
